Combustion Chamber
Challenge: Traditional copper alloys soften at high temps, while standard IR lasers struggle to print fully dense, reflective copper alloys.
Solution: Used CuCrZr (Chrome Zirconium Copper) for tool-less digital manufacturing. The Green Laser processed the reflective material rapidly, delivering multiple design variants.
Result: Achieved ~99.98% density, zero brazing seams, and superior structural integrity for extreme thermal cycling.
Regeneratively Cooled Thrust Chamber
Challenge: Machining complex, integrated cooling channels into thin walls is impossible with traditional milling, leading to leakage risks.
Solution: Direct additive manufacturing of 0.1mm thin-walled channels with low surface roughness for optimal coolant flow.
Result: Maximized heat exchange, and lead time cut from months to weeks.
